Installation
Please follow these steps to install your RainHarvest PRO:

Step 1:
-
Identify the left and right side RainHarvest PRO’s and note where each one should be installed.
-
Note: You may need a step stool or ladder to safely reach your desired installation area.
Step 2:
-
If you have existing gutter spouts, remove them from your RV using the appropriate tools.
-
Note: You may need to pull back the vinyl cover on the drip rail to access a screw if your existing gutter spouts are attached with a screw (If there is no hole already drilled from an existing gutter spout, you will need to drill a small hole in the gutter rail with Step 3).
-
After removal, ensure that the surface is clean and free from any debris.
Step 3:
If there is a hole already drilled from an existing gutter spout:
-
Slide the RainHarvest PRO behind the drip rail. Drill through the RainHarvest PRO in the center of the mounting area, and into the existing hole in your gutter rail.
If there is not an existing hole:
-
Slide the RainHarvest PRO behind the rail, align the RainHarvest PRO so it is sitting flush against your RV, and drill a hole through the RainHarvest PRO and the outer wall of your RV.
-
Note: The drill bit size will need to correspond with the mounting screw you plan to use.

Step 4:
-
Insert a screw into the hole and secure using your screwdriver. Do not use a power tool for this.
Step 5:
-
Using your clear silicone caulk, cover the screw hole and surrounding area to make sure you have a secure, water-tight connection.
*Repeat steps 1-4 for each RainHarvest PRO in your kit*
Operating Instructions
Once your RainHarvest PRO unit(s) are installed, follow these instructions to collect rainwater.
Step 1:
-
Before each rain event, ensure that your hose(s) are properly connected to the RainHarvest PRO unit(s) and the storage tank is ready for use. Also ensure that you have the additional necessary components to collect rainwater. This may include but is not limited to: hoses, screens, in-line filters, splitters, fitting adapters and reservoirs.
Step 2:
-
It is recommended to place an O-Ring screen at the top of each hose you plan to use for rain catchment. It is also recommended that you use drinking grade hoses and components.
Step 3:
-
Connect the female end of your hose to the RainHarvest PRO. Connect the other end of the hose to your desired additional components (referenced in Step 1) or directly to your reservoir.
Step 4:
-
During a rain event, the water will be channeled from the RainHarvest PRO unit(s) into the hose(s) and directed to your storage tank (fresh water tank or external reservoirs).
Step 5:
-
Monitor the storage tank's water level. When the tank is full, utilize a new storage solution or disconnect your hose.
